“The position is open to scholars working in any geographic region. However, we particularly encourage applications from candidates whose regional focus does not substantially overlap with existing departmental strengths in North America, Africa, and West Asia. We are especially interested in applicants whose teaching and scholarship foreground the archaeology of gender, race, foodways, craft production, and/or related themes that complement current departmental commitments.”
