“We are seeking candidates with Race/Ethnic and/or Gender Studies (or related field) expertise who are qualified to teach Research Methods, and Racial Formation courses. Ideal candidates will also have a specialization in Environment/Climate Change and/or Native American and Indigenous Studies to teach courses offered with our Environment or Climate Change focus or in our Indigenous Studies Minor.” “Applicants with related expertise in Asian American, Black/African American, and/or Women and Gender Studies may be considered. We particularly invite instructors who are engaging with teaching materials that provide original ways of applying a race/ethnic studies framework to current theories and methods, justice phenomena, and activism. The applicant must demonstrate a knowledge base for pedagogies and epistemologies in Race and Ethnic Studies; potential for excellence in service and outreach; and strong interpersonal and communication skills.” Note: 3-4 yearly teaching load; salary = $58k-$60K; service included.
