Description:
Seeking candidates “with a Ph.D. in American Studies, emphasizing African/African Diaspora cultural studies as their primary area of expertise and teaching interest. Ability to teach courses in film and media studies is required. We seek a scholar who may have a specialty in Caribbean and global Black diasporic cultural lives, both Atlantic and Pacific. Candidates with a focus on material culture studies, visual culture studies, and gender studies are particularly encouraged to apply.” Note: 3:2 or 2:3 load.
