“We are seeking a scholar with an active program of research in ancient medicine and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentorship. Areas of expertise in which we are particularly interested include, but are not limited to: Hellenistic Egypt, religious ritual and magic, gender and sexuality, race and ethnic identity, disability studies, reception of Hippocratic Corpus and Galen, and papyrology. Research programs involving digital humanities are especially welcome.”
