“Applicants should be able to teach and lead initiatives related to one or more of the following topic areas: Africa; Europe and European empires; Latin America; the Middle East; and/or Russia/the Soviet Union.” “We especially welcome candidates who could teach courses and lead initiatives in our Public History concentration for the History major; in other opportunities associated with the Department of the Global Humanities (e.g. with the Global Cultural Studies, Language, and/or Philosophy programs); and in the College of Arts and Sciences (e.g. Environmental Studies, Economics, Political Science/Legal Studies, Black Studies, Economics, and/or Women’s and Gender Studies).”
