“The successful candidate will have a strong scholarly research agenda and demonstrate preparation to teach in department courses that include introduction to sociology, upper-level courses in gender and sexuality studies, and other courses as needed in the department’s curriculum. Evidence of ability to engage students in experiential, community-oriented learning and in New York City-based learning is desired.”
