Description:

“Ideally, the successful candidate will be hired to develop and teach both small and large courses as part of the Department’s new health justice track, including an introductory course on health justice & community. We are especially interested in candidates whose scholarly interests go beyond standard biomedical and public health approaches to teach interdisciplinary health justice centered courses on such topics as: critical disability studies, food justice, environmental/climate justice, health disparities/policy, reproductive care, indigenous knowledge production, community healing practices, migrant health care, medical racism/apartheid, colonial medicine, etc.” Candidates should have a “Ph.D. or ABD (all but dissertation) [and be] trained in a social science or relevant interdisciplinary field such as feminist, queer, global, ethnic and/or Asian American studies is a minimum requirement.” Note: A reasonable estimated full-time
rate for this position at 100% time is $75,301- $101,198/year.
