Description:
Incumbent will “[t]each dynamic study of literature across historical periods, geographical boundaries and diverse political and social contexts. Courses will teach critical reading, thinking, writing and research skills. Offer students the opportunity to explore a wide range of genres including poems, plays, novels, essays, letters, film and new media from a variety of historical contexts inclusive of theoretical and philosophical questions. Perform and publish research related to: indigenous theory, postcolonial theory, feminist and queer theory, American Indian and Indigenous literatures, Arab and Arab American literatures, diasporic, refugee, and prison writings, and Asian American literatures and studies.”
