“Canisius University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of History teaching Modern American History and/or Modern European History for the 2026-2027 Academic Year in the Department of History to teach US history and/or European history surveys at the introductory level and develop upper-level courses in the candidate’s field of expertise. For Modern American History, this could include the study of race and ethnicity, gender, and urban history. For Modern European History, this could include the study of genocide, globalization, immigration, refugees, as well as Europe in the wider world.” Note: 4:4 teaching load; salary = $56,000-67,000.
