“The successful candidate will specialize in 19th century United States history, and can teach classes on enslavement and Civil War. The Department is open to expertise in all themes, including (but not limited to) comparative perspectives of the Global South and/or Atlantic World histories, trans-Atlantic enslavement, digital humanities, migration, religion, race, gender and sexuality, and empire.”
