Description:
“We seek candidates with expertise in the humanities who employ critical and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of Korean cultural forms, expression, and/or practices, broadly defined, as they circulate and relate to national, diasporic, or emergent communities. We are particularly interested in scholars who explore media forms and representation – such as literature, film, food, music, and digital communication – in relation to social, political, and economic change: migration, race, and gender formation. Also welcome is experience in the digital humanities and community engagement, which align with department and campus initiatives.”
