Description:
We seek a scholar with expertise in critical race feminisms with an emphasis in one or more of the following fields: abolitionism, international political economy, and/or feminist approaches to law, rights, and policy. The applicant would be expected to teach introduction level courses in Women’s and Gender Studies as well as upper division courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching and research can contribute to one or more of the department’s affiliated interdisciplinary minors, particularly Disability Studies and LGBTQ Studies. We welcome teacher-scholars with doctoral degrees in Women’s and Gender Studies, Ethnic Studies, or other cognate interdisciplinary fields; candidates with PhDs in other social science and humanities disciplines with designated emphases in the areas outlined above will also be considered.”
