“The candidate should be able to teach at all levels, from beginning German language courses to more advanced German Literature and Cultural Studies courses offered in German and English. While the area of expertise is open, we are especially interested in candidates with expertise in pre-20th Century literature and culture or in the environmental humanities. The ability to offer both small seminars and large lecture courses that appeal to students in other disciplines and can be cross-listed with other departments and interdisciplinary programs such as History, Women’s Studies, Judaic Studies, European Studies, and Film and Media Studies will also be considered a plus.” Note: 3:3 load.
