Encouraging “applicants who challenge traditional understandings of Europe and the Early Modern period, and who center their work around topics of movement, migration, trade, or cultural exchanges. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching and research focuses on Europe and its global connections to Asia, Africa, Latin America, or Oceania.” “Many faculty members also choose to affiliate with interdisciplinary programs, including: International Studies; Peace and Conflict Studies; Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; and Science, Technology, and Environmental Studies.”
