“Preference will be given to scholars whose research and teaching foreground communities that are historically underrepresented and/or marginalized in the field and demonstrate a profound understanding of the effects of globalization, migration, and racism on contemporary artistic or architectural practices. Ideally, the successful candidate will strengthen the department’s ties to other campus units, such as Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies, Women’s Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Black Studies, Latin American Studies, or Asian Studies.”
