“Candidates with broad sociological training, applied and/or community engagement experience, and an interdisciplinary research agenda that will include undergraduate students is strongly preferred. Ability to intersect with a growing focus on social and/or environmental justice would be a plus. Applicants must have teaching experience and be near to completion of their PhD at the time of the appointment.” “Courses to be covered include Marriage and Family (SO301), Sociology of Gender (SO320) and Sociological Theory (SO343), in addition to social work classes. The successful candidate will be teaching in Wagner College’s signature, interdisciplinary, First Year Program.” Note: 3:3 load; base salary starts at $65k.
