“Topics of instruction can include but is not limited to introduction to the field, race and empire, gender and sexuality, immigration, citizenship, literature, arts, and/or media.” Required: a “Ph.D. in American Studies, Ethnic Studies, or related areas by the time of appointment, and a record of teaching effectiveness are required.”
