“The English Department invites scholars with literary interests in U.S.-centered Black literatures and especially welcomes those with additional expertise in African diasporic literatures beyond the United States, as well as those with secondary interests in gender and sexuality, postcolonial studies, disability studies, critical ethnic studies, and/or environmental studies within the context of African-American literature.”
