Description:
“We seek socio-cultural candidates whose research addresses and who can teach courses on: environmental anthropology, economic anthropology, science and technology studies, public health, and/or indigeneity. We are especially interested in candidates who can also offer courses on gender and/or religion (particularly Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism) and who could potentially develop an ethnographic field school. In terms of geographic expertise, preference will be given to candidates who work in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, South, East, or Southeast Asia or amongst indigenous people of Oceania or the Americas.”
