Seeking candidates who focus “on cultural and intellectual production in Brazil and/or Luso-Africa from the 19th century to the present.” “We welcome applicants whose research spans a variety of topics and approaches, including, but not limited to, Afro-diasporic cultural forms and currents of postcolonial thought, comparative studies between the Luso-Afro-Brazilian world and Latin America and/or Asia, environmental humanities, gender and sexuality studies, Indigenous cultural production, and visual studies.”
