“Our department seeks an individual with teaching experience and scholarly interests in the fields of Ethnic Studies, Critical Race Studies, American Studies, or related interdisciplinary field.” “We value collegiality and have regular interdisciplinary collaboration with affiliate faculty across departments in the College of Arts and Sciences including Communication Studies, English, Film Studies, History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies.” “Gonzaga has several strategic initiatives which could further support the experiences of interdisciplinary scholars grounded in critical race and ethnic studies, including those scholars who study race, climate, water, and the environment, critical race and ethnic studies approaches to health sciences, critical race and ethnic studies approaches to data science and algorithmic sciences, and critical approaches to race and sports.” Candidates should have a “Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies, Critical Race Studies, American Studies, or related interdisciplinary field.”
