“A PhD in History or a related field with a geographical focus on the Mediterranean World, including North Africa, the Middle East, and/or Europe is required. Among the topics of interest to our department are colonization, cultural and intellectual exchanges, gender, and foodways, as well as a demonstrated effectiveness teaching upper-level courses in Ancient History and Digital History.”
