“We invite scholars at the forefront of their field of inquiry that embraces the interdisciplinary nature of our fields, and committed to theorizing, researching, teaching, and building community partnerships with research that benefits diverse Latinx communities. We invite applicants whose expertise in Latina/o/x/e and Chicana/o/x and studies includes, but is not limited to: Afro-Latinidad; Indigeneity and Latinidad; the environment, health, and community wellness; race and religion; gender and sexuality; social movement theory and labor; literature, culture, performance and the arts; immigration and border theory; criminology, carceral systems, and structural violence; race and Latinidad.”
