“Area of specialization is open but the department is particularly interested in recruiting a teacher-scholar who can demonstrate experience executing a cross-cultural research agenda, building community partnerships and documenting the histories of marginalized communities, activism, and social movements in the 20th century United States. Candidates able to contribute to an evolving specialization in public history, digital humanities, and integration of innovative technologies (i.e. AR/VR, ArcGIS, game design technologies) in an interdisciplinary context are especially encouraged.  Ph.D. candidates in History, Latine Studies, Black Studies, Ethnic Studies, Women’s & Gender Studies, Global Studies, or related fields are enthusiastically welcomed.”
