“Candidates are sought with research and teaching interests in war and critical militarisms embedded in understandings of settler colonialism and empire. The successful candidate will further engage in one or more of the following areas: the Pacific; indigenous studies, SWANA; policing, carcerality and surveillance; biopolitics; histories, technologies and toxicities of warfare, such as targeting, weapons manufacturing, and critical logistics; the embodied aftermaths of militarized state violence. Applicants should have training in Asian American studies and engage with one or more fields of praxis or study, including but not limited to: critical race studies, indigenous studies, postcolonial or decolonial studies, gender studies, trans and queer studies, and sexuality studies.”
