Part of a cluster hire in African American Studies and the social sciences. ” Applicants’ research should fit within one or both of two broad subfields: 1) Racial Attitudes and Political Participation (e.g., estimating the role of prejudice in politics, topics in sexuality and gender identity, race and attitudes towards climate justice, and/or other relevant subspecializations) and 2) Race, Systems, and Institutions (e.g., the intersections of race and class, race and artificial intelligence, race relations in specific domains such as education, child welfare, public administration, and/or other relevant subspecializations).”
