“We especially welcome applications from candidates whose research lies in any of the following areas, which may intersect: research that applies ancient Greek and / or Roman philosophy to contemporary ethical debates, and vice versa; comparative research that studies ancient Greek and / or Roman philosophy in dialogue with other philosophical traditions in the ancient and medieval world; interdisciplinary research that spans ancient Greek and / or Roman philosophy and other disciplines (e.g. women, gender, and sexuality studies; critical race studies; the natural sciences; and technology).”
