Description:
The “successful candidate will direct the Colgate Concert Jazz Ensemble and teach courses including History of Jazz; Jazz Theory and Improvisation; new offerings based on the candidate’s areas of expertise and interest, such as The History of Hip Hop, Music of Latin America, History of American Music, or another proposed course.” “We are especially interested in candidates whose research and teaching areas show promise for building new interdisciplinary connections across Colgate’s campus, including fields such as Africana and Latin American Studies, Asian Studies, Dance, LGBTQ Studies, Women’s and Gender and Sexuality Studies, and languages.”
