“The successful candidate will be a teacher-scholar whose research and teaching interests focus on either contemporary indigenous and/or afro-hispanic cultures, with a geographical focus on at least one of the following regions: Andes, Paraguay, Pacific Coast, Amazonía, or Caribbean Basin.  Also desirable: expertise or demonstrated interest in Medical Humanities, Environmental Studies, or Gender and Sexuality Studies.”
