“The candidate should have an active research agenda and teaching experience in film studies and U.S. literature that are informed by queer theory.” “We are especially eager to interview candidates who wish to be actively engaged in the curricular development of our growing minor in Cinema and Media Studies. The faculty member who joins the department can expect to contribute to the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs and will have opportunities to participate in the university’s Core Humanities Program and interdisciplinary race and ethnic, gender and sexuality, Indigenous, and global studies programs as appropriate.”
