Description:

Focus will be on Latin America. “Our goal is to build upon and strategically expand the Department’s strengths in critical human geography, including Political Geographies, Feminist Geographies, and Environmental Geographies. We encourage candidates conducting research and teaching in all aspects of Political Ecology, including one (or more) of the following themes: human and more-than-human relations; migration policies and border security; Indigenous movements; environmental justice. We encourage applications from candidates using qualitative research methods, including ethnographic, interview-based, and archival approaches.” “We encourage candidates who will be able to contribute to our interdisciplinary offerings in Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies (LACLS) and Environmental and Sustainability Studies (ENS). A PhD All But Dissertation (ABD) in geography or related discipline is required.”
