Description:
Responsibilities include teaching “special music topics to students from other disciplines across campus in such areas as: postcolonialism, women and gender studies, LGBTQIA+ studies, civic engagement/protest music, social justice, critical race theory, and anti-racist frameworks, especially pertaining to the music of Latin America, Africa, and non-Western music.” Preferred qualifications: Performance experience in world music, jazz, music of our time and experience and knowledge of music technologies in teaching and area of research.
