“The Global Asias Initiative brings together an existing Asian Studies program and Asian American studies minor, with the objective of developing an expansive Global Asias program that creates connections across disciplines, institutions, organizations, and communities.” “Candidates may have a Ph.D. in a variety of subjects including: Asian American Studies; Ethnic Studies; American Studies; Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; cultural or literary studies; and/or other transdisciplinary approaches to the humanities are especially welcome, as are socially-engaged scholars and researchers with community collaborative or community outreach experience.” “[A]applicants must have completed their Ph.D. in their field when the two-year term of appointment commences on August 23, 2024, and no earlier than May 1, 2021.”
