By design, we invite applications from across the spectrum of traditional and interdisciplinary units, including those from applicants whose research and teaching engage in social scientific or humanistic inquiry, qualitative or quantitative work, and US-specific or comparative/transnational approaches.” “Applications are especially welcome from scholars who will complement and/or expand the Latinx research portfolios of current University of Rochester researchers in anthropology, economics, political science, history, comparative literature, modern languages and cultures, linguistics, archaeology, and religion. The candidate may develop courses in conjunction with cognate programs in Visual and Cultural Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Indigenous Nations Studies, and African-American Studies.”
