Two fellowships:
“Fellowship One: This fellowship is open to scholars in any discipline whose work focuses on the Caribbean and/or Afro-Latin America. We are especially interested in a scholar whose work engages with questions emanating from environmental justice, Black geographies and ecologies, digital cultures and/or Black feminism at the intersection of gender and sexuality.
Fellowship Two: This fellowship is open to scholars working in the fields of African, African American, and African Diasporic Studies whose research and teaching builds on the existing strengths of our department, our Global Black Studies initiative, and our commitment to the St. Louis region. Geographic region, time-period and method of inquiry are open. Humanist Social Scientists are also welcome. We are particularly interested in scholars whose work compliments one or more of our focus areas, including environmental justice, Black geographies & ecologies, digital cultures, and Black feminism at the intersections of gender and sexuality.”
Applicants “must have received a doctorate no earlier than Spring 2021 and no later than July 1, 2024.”
