Inviting “applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in English with an emphasis on English and American literature of the Long Nineteenth Century, including African American literature. We seek a colleague who can help us re-imagine how we cover genre and period prior to the Twentieth Century and after Reconstruction, as well as to expand our offerings in African American literature, especially in this period. Experience in the areas of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Religious Studies, or Professional or Creative Writing are also welcome, though not required.”
