Description:

Minimum qualifications include: 

• Ph.D. in the discipline of History. Degree must be in hand at time of appointment 
• Expertise in Mexican history 
• Ability to teach upper-division and graduate courses in colonial Mexican history
• Ability to teach lower-division surveys in world history, upper-division and graduate courses in Mexican history, as well as related courses in Latin American history  

Preferred: 
A subfield in any of the following areas: environmental history, ethnohistory, gender history, oral history, public history, race and ethnicity,” Experience in digital history also desirable.
