Description:
“The department specifically seeks candidates to teach courses in rhetorical studies including but not limited to rhetorical theory and criticism, history of public discourse, public communication and controversy, and argumentation and debate, in addition to departmental service courses like foundations of communication, public speaking, and senior seminar. A core role for the individual we seek will be supervision and support of the debate program. The ability to contribute to various interdisciplinary programs on campus such as (but not limited to) Africana Studies, Asian Studies, Film Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and World Literature is preferred.”
