Preferred qualifications include 

• 
  Academic and pedagogical expertise in the sacred scriptures and religious literature of Judaism, Christianity, and/or Islam.
• Academic and pedagogical expertise from hermeneutical and critical perspectives that have been actively marginalized in the academic study of religion. These perspectives may include one or more of the following critical/constructive locations: African American, Black, Womanist, Liberation, Latino/a, Disability, Postcolonial, and Queer.
