“Competitive candidates should have wide competencies in critical studies, as they will teach core introductory courses such as Seminar in Composition: Film (a first-year writing course), Introduction to Film, Visual Literacy, and Gender and Film. We especially welcome acandidate who can teach and develop courses in television studies. We welcome pedagogical approaches that connect issues of industry studies, racial justice, climate and environment, disability and accessibility, or gender and sexuality to contemporary televisual modes.”
