“We are seeking enthusiastic teacher-scholars with a strong background in several possible areas of scholarship and teaching including Public Health and Inequality, Gender and Sexuality, Latin American Sociology, and Historical Sociology.” “Primary teaching and research expertise in one of the following areas: Public Health and Inequality, Gender/Sexuality, Latin American Sociology, or Historical Sociology.” “Preferred candidates will be able to teach one or more of the following courses in our catalog: Soc 4620 Sociology of Health and Wellness, SOC 4630 Sociology of Medicine, SOC 2400 Sex and Gender Issues, SOC 4400 The LGBTQ Experience in the US, SOC 4310 The Latin American Experience, SOC 3330 The Indigenous Experience in the Modern Americas, and/or SOC 4240 Vision and Method of Historical Sociology.”
