Description:
“We are open to all geographic and topical areas of specialization, including those that attend to Black diasporas, anti-Black racism, Black feminist and/or queer studies, the afterlives of slavery, racial capitalism, and/or state violence. We are also open to scholars who take creative approaches to ethnographic genre and form, including mixed modalities of research and writing and/or other forms of representation.” “Applicants must have a PhD in anthropology by the time of appointment. We are particularly interested in recent PhDs and early-career professionals; a successful candidate may be hired as an Instructor if the candidate does not have a Ph.D. in hand at the time of appointment but will complete the Ph.D.in anthropology within one year of hire.”
