“he area of specialization (AOS) is social and political philosophy, with a desired focus on migration and/or environment. We have a preference for non-ideal approaches and for research that is significantly grounded in philosophical traditions historically underrepresented in the field (e.g., feminist, queer/trans, Africana, Latin American / Latinx, Asian, Indigenous, disability studies, etc., including innovative applied and interdisciplinary work).” “The area of teaching competence (AOC) is open but the successful candidate must be able to contribute to Latin American Studies and/or one or more of the following interdisciplinary programs: Women’s and Gender Studies, Legal Studies, Film Studies, Health & Medical Humanities, Environmental Studies.”
