“Areas of scholarly interest and expertise might include global perspectives on: environmental racism; Environmental Justice; Political Ecology; decolonial strategies; plantations; land grabs; climate change and migration; urban environmental politics; conservation politics; climate governance; political thought and the environment; agriculture and food sovereignty. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research centers the Global South as a political category.” “In addition to the College’s vibrant and growing Environmental Studies program, the candidate would have the opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary programs such as Indigeneity, Race and Ethnicity Studies; Gender Studies; Asian and Middle Eastern Studies; and the Center for Global Studies, or to new emerging curricular formations.”
