“Scholars of all time periods and specializations in any humanities or social sciences discipline within Black Studies and Latinx Studies are encouraged to apply and will receive full consideration.” “We are particularly interested in candidates with research and teaching interests that include (but are not limited to): Gender, Comparative Approaches (Afro-Latinx, Afro-Asian, etc), Social Movements, Black Southern Studies, Decolonial Studies and/or Queer of Color Critique. The ideal candidate will be able to teach foundational concepts in race and ethnic studies, including but not limited to colonialism and imperialism, racialization and identity formation, power and hegemony, resistance and social movements, and the intersections of race, class, gender, sexuality, and ability.”
