Length/Track:
Tenure track
Description:
“
We are especially interested in scholars who use interdisciplinary approaches to Black social movements of the twentieth century. Defining the era of Civil Rights broadly (including the New Negro Movement through the modern Civil Rights movement, approximately 1955-1975), we are interested in scholars engaging Black political thought, the intersection of race and gender within the context of Black social movements, sexual identity, and the socio-economic dimensions of political activism. Scholars specializing in interdisciplinary approaches such as sound theory, urban history, gender studies, Africana studies, and American studies are encouraged to apply.”
