“Wesleyan University invites applications for an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in American Studies beginning July 1, 2024. We seek candidates with expertise in interdisciplinary research areas pertaining to the US and/or hemispheric Americas. The successful candidate will have a degree in American Studies or a closely related field; will demonstrate a working knowledge of the intellectual commitments of the field of American Studies; and will offer courses originating in the American Studies Department to complement the existing curriculum. The teaching load is one course per semester allowing time for scholarly research.”
